Salvation exists in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved.

Salvation in Christ Alone

This choice of salvation is by faith alone; nothing you can ever do will remove the penalty of sin, which is death, except acceptance of the free gift of Christ’s blood shed on your behalf.

For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. Romans 3:23 ESV
 
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9 ESV

Do you know for sure that your trust is put in the One who created you, knit you in your mother’s womb, knew everyone of your days before one of them came to be?

For you formed my inmost being. You knit me together in my mother’s womb. I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful. My soul knows that very well.

My frame wasn’t hidden from you, when I was made in secret, woven together in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my body. In your book they were all written, the days that were ordained for me, when as yet there were none of them. How precious to me are your thoughts, God! How vast is their sum! Psalms 139:13-17 WEB

Trusting in the Eternal God who sent His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ the Messiah, to die on a stake for our sins. Christ was dead and buried in the tomb for a full three days and three nights; when a supernatural power began to flow inside that tomb, God, by His mighty power raised Jesus from the dead. He is the first of many brethren who will be raised to new life by the power of God. By Christ’s death, burial, and resurrection, we have a free gift of salvation, eternity with God.

Remove the deception from your mind and come closer to the voice of the Eternal One who whispers: you are loved, you are created in My image, and you are created for more than you can imagine here on this earth and even into eternal life with Me.

I cannot close this book, (Worthy of Rescue-Pursued by God) without asking you if you know where you will spend eternity. Do you know for sure that you will be raised from the dead to eternal life? You may question resurrection from the dead and people may tell you that there is no proof that Christ was raised from mortal to immortal. The scripture tells us Jesus was raised from the dead, the first of many to come after Him; He will come again and bring us to Himself.

God raised Jesus from death. And if God’s Spirit lives in you, he will also give life to your bodies that die. Yes, God is the one who raised Christ from death, and he will raise you to life through his Spirit living in you.

So, my brothers and sisters, we must not be ruled by our sinful selves. We must not live the way our sinful selves want. If you use your lives to do what your sinful selves want, you will die spiritually. But if you use the Spirit’s help to stop doing the wrong things you do with your body, you will have true life. Romans 8:11-13 ERV

This is not based on who you are, where you were born, or even on anything you think you could or should do because you cannot earn this salvation. It is about eternity with God, not eternity separated from God by the second death. Without repenting and placing your trust in God, you condemn yourself to this eternity in hell. This is not God’s desire for you or for humanity.

So, I ask you, do you truly know God through His Son Jesus Christ? If you choose this day to follow God, it is not complicated. Repent and make your commitment to give God your life, allowing Him to change you and make you more like His risen Son, Jesus Christ.

Because if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved. For the scripture says, ‘everyone who believes in Him will not be put to shame.’ Romans 10:9-11 ESV

You can use simple language like this below or use your own words to confess your sin, repentance and need of a Savior.

Father God, I am a child, made in Your image, I have been lied to, abused, and broken by so much around me and in my life. I have walked away from knowing you because I was enticed by the sparkle and glitter of the things the world has to offer.

I ran away from You because I could never comprehend Your perfect Love for me, your created child. I was told, or I thought You were only a harsh judge, one who did not hear my cries for help and one who was repulsed by the sins I committed, so I ran farther and farther away from you.

I repent for all my life before this moment, my sins, wrongdoing, self-sufficiency, my creation of and bowing to other gods who cannot ever bring me fullness of joy, nor could ever give me eternal life, this comes only from You LORD.

I accept the blood of Jesus, shed on my behalf to cleanse me, and allow me full access to Your presence for eternity starting right now.

Send your Holy Spirit to lead me and guide me into all truth. Help me to find your true body of believers, church, which will preach the whole truth of the Bible to me for continued sanctification as you mold me and make me more like Your Son, Jesus.

Seal me for all eternity in the Lamb’s Book of Life and walk closely with me each day until I take my last breath. AMEN

If you have said this prayer, or one like it in your own words; you belong to God the Father through the sacrificial blood of Jesus Christ the Son and have been given the Holy Spirit as the Comforter and giver of all truth.

Welcome to His family!

You may be asking what do I do now? Look for a bible-based church so that you can continue your journey on knowing Who you belong to and who you were created to be. Seek counseling on getting baptized which is an outward declaration of the inward change God has made in your life.

To continue your journey of learning more about Jesus is to pick up a bible and read about Jesus’ birth, ministry, death, and resurrection, I would recommend beginning with the book of John, which shows the heart of God for mankind. The Holy Spirit, which you have been given, will open your eyes and heart (inner spirit) to the truth in the Bible. Do not be scared, just ask that what you are reading will be made clear to you. Those portions which you are unable to understand, seek a follower of Christ to help you answer some of your questions.

You can, through daily bible reading, church bible study groups, and online teachings, learn more about God’s plan for mankind through the books of the Old Testament, starting with Genesis, all the way through the last book of the New Testament, Revelation which closes with our eternity with God.

Behold, I come quickly. My reward is with me, to repay to each man according to his work. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.

Blessed are those who do his commandments, that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter in by the gates into the city.

Outside are the dogs, the sorcerers, the sexually immoral, the murderers, the idolaters, and everyone who loves and practices falsehood.

As I close out this book, even though I do not know you, God does and I pray that you will grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord, Savior and soon coming King Jesus Christ. Amen.
